Greg Mitchell has worked for Walmart for over 20 years. His current role is leading and conducting investigations relating to financial crimes and organized retail crimes.
From 1993 to 2000, Greg was an hourly associate working at several different Walmart Stores in Texas. He held positions in just about every part of the store until 1996 when he became an In Store Loss Prevention associate.
In 2000, he was promoted to District Loss Prevention Supervisor. He relocated to Des Moines, IA until 2003, when he moved back to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He held the same position in Dallas until 2005.
In 2005, Mitchell was promoted to International Merchandise Protection Manager for Walmart International Asset Protection and relocated to Bentonville, AR. In that position, he was responsible for providing analysis and cost effective shrink reduction solutions for Walmart’s operating units outside of the United States. He held that position until late 2007, when he transitioned back to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area as a Market Asset Protection Manager responsible for the South Dallas Market.
In 2010, he was promoted to Regional Asset Protection Sr. Manager responsible for over 140 Walmart stores in the North Texas area. And in Sept. 2013, he transitioned to Global Investigations.
